Text nodes
Share information in a guided flow before it continues automatically.
A Text node sends a message without asking the visitor to choose or type anything. Use it for instructions, updates, or a short explanation between questions.
Add a Text node
- Open your guided flow and select Text from the node list.
- Write the message visitors should see. A message is required and has a character limit shown while you edit it.
- Optionally add one image and one voice or audio clip.
- Connect the Text node to the next question, action, or ending.
The flow sends the text, then its image, then its audio clip. It then continues automatically to the connection you chose.
Change a node type
Removing every option from a Question keeps it a Question. It will not become a text-input field automatically.
To use a different kind of node, choose the node-type change action yourself. If a Question still has options, you will be asked to confirm before those options are removed.
Delivery by channel
Text nodes work on your website, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Long text is sent in separate readable messages where a channel has a message limit. Images and audio are sent after the text.
When several Text nodes run one after another, each one arrives as its own message on every channel, so a chain of updates reads as separate bubbles rather than a single combined message. Any reply shown for the choice a visitor just made arrives first, followed by the Text node messages in order.
If a channel cannot send one attachment, visitors still receive the text and the flow continues. Check the attachment type and try uploading it again if needed.
Troubleshooting
The Text node will not publish
Make sure the message is not blank and connect it to another node or an ending. A Text node needs both before a live flow can use it.
I cannot add a file
Text nodes accept supported image and audio files only, within the displayed size limit. Choose a supported file or make it smaller, then try again.
The next question is not reached
Open the Text node and check its connection. Reconnect it to the question, action, or ending that should follow it.
