Help center
Search the documentation and ask the Fetchply assistant from inside the dashboard, without losing the page you were working on.
Help center is in the side menu, just above your plan usage. It stays in the same place whether you are inside an agent or on an account page, so it is always one click away from wherever you got stuck.
It has two halves that answer the same question in different ways:
- Documentation finds the exact page that covers what you typed.
- Fetchply assistant reads the whole documentation set and writes an answer back to you, with links to the pages it used.
Ask one question, get both answers
There is a single box at the top. Type your question in plain language.
- As you type, matching documentation pages appear underneath. Select one to open it.
- Press Enter, or select Ask, to send the same words to the assistant on the right. It replies in the panel, usually within a few seconds.
You do not have to choose between the two. Typing searches; pressing Enter asks.
This does not use your message allowance
The assistant here is Fetchply's own, not one of your agents. Questions you ask in the Help center never count against the messages included with your plan.
Documentation pages open in a new tab on purpose. That way your conversation with the assistant is still waiting when you come back.
Help for the page you came from
When you open the Help center from another screen, the top of the Documentation panel shows a short list of pages about that screen, under a heading such as Documentation for Sources. It is a shortcut past the full list below.
If you open the Help center twice in a row, or land on it directly from a link, this shortcut is not shown. Use the box or the topic list instead.
Browse when you do not have a question yet
With the box empty, the Documentation panel lists every area of the product — Get started, Knowledge and training, Widget and install, Integrations, Billing, and the rest — with the most useful pages in each. It is a full map of the documentation on one screen, so you can skim rather than search.
Resize or close the assistant
The assistant panel has the same controls as the chat widget on your own site:
- The expand control gives the assistant the full width of the page and moves the documentation below it. Use it again to go back to side by side.
- The close control tidies the panel away. A Reopen button takes its place, and your conversation is exactly where you left it.
- The panel's own menu can start a new chat when you want a clean thread.
When you still need a person
The Still stuck? card at the bottom of the page has three ways out:
- Read the documentation opens the full documentation site.
- Report a bug sends us a description along with the page you were on.
- Email support opens a message to our support address.
Troubleshooting
Nothing matched what I typed
The Documentation panel says no page matched and offers Ask the assistant instead. Take it: the assistant can answer questions that no single page title covers, such as questions that combine two features.
Very short entries are ignored on purpose. Type at least two characters before expecting results.
The results list will not load
If the documentation index cannot be reached, the panel says so and points you at the assistant, which reads the same documentation by a different route. The list usually returns on its own; refreshing the page also clears it.
The assistant panel stays grey
Grey placeholder blocks mean the assistant is still starting up. If they do not turn into a conversation after a few seconds, refresh the page. A network that blocks embedded chat windows, or a browser extension that blocks them, will stop the panel loading — in that case use Email support at the bottom of the page.
I asked before the panel finished loading
Your question is not lost. It is held and sent the moment the assistant is ready, so you only need to ask once.
The answer looks out of date or wrong
The assistant answers from our published documentation, and every answer links to the pages behind it. Open those links to check the detail. If the documentation itself is wrong or missing something, use Report a bug so we can fix the source rather than the answer.
My conversation disappeared
Leaving the Help center ends the conversation, which is why documentation links open in a new tab. Closing the panel with its close control does not end it — select Reopen to carry on.
Who can read what I ask here
Your questions reach the Fetchply support team, along with your name and the email address on your account, so we can follow up if an answer was not good enough. They are not visible to other people on your account, and they never appear in your own agents' conversations. Avoid pasting passwords or access keys into any chat, here or anywhere else.
The Help center is missing from my side menu
Every signed-in user sees it, on every plan, in both the desktop menu and the mobile menu. If the side menu is collapsed to icons it becomes a lifebuoy icon near the bottom — hover it to confirm. You can also press Ctrl K (⌘ K on a Mac) and type "help" to jump straight there.
