Getting started with Fetchply
Create your first agent, add approved knowledge, test its answers, and publish the chat widget on your site.
You need a Fetchply account and permission to use any website or content you add. A credit card is not required for the Free plan.
Create an account
Sign up with email and password or a supported social provider. If you use email, complete any verification shown in the app.
Add a website or skip it
Enter a website you own or are allowed to train on. Select I don't have a website to start with files instead.
Shape the agent
Set Agent name, choose an instruction preset or write your own, select a launcher icon, and add up to six starter questions.
Wait for usable knowledge
Training runs in the background. The agent can become available after its first source is indexed while the remaining pages continue.
Test representative questions
Open the test chat. Ask questions with known answers, missing answers, and wording your visitors use. Review any source citations.
Install and verify
Open Deploy, copy the floating-widget script, and place it before </body>. Publish your site, open it in a private window, and send a message.
Training duration varies with content size and queue load. Do not promise a launch time until the agent answers your test set correctly.
Your launch checklist
- The agent answers approved questions and admits when knowledge is missing.
- The widget opens on desktop and mobile without covering key site controls.
- Lead capture, handoff, and any connected channels use the expected agent.
- A teammate can see and reply to a test conversation in Inbox.
