Switching to Fetchply

Compare your current support platform, test a Fetchply agent, and move channels when your new setup is ready.

Use the alternatives guides to compare your current platform with Fetchply and other options. Each guide includes a shortlist, pricing models, a feature table, official sources, and a switching checklist. The guides are published by Fetchply and explain where another product may fit better.

Make a shortlist

Search by platform or need, then filter by category. Fetchply serves teams of every size, from small businesses to enterprises. Compare AI agents, channels, the omnichannel inbox and live replies, lead generation, WhatsApp campaigns, store tools, custom actions, developer access, and monthly usage. Read the date and source links: vendor features and pricing can change. A feature marked Confirm needs checking with the vendor; it does not mean the feature is unavailable.

Each guide highlights how Fetchply brings website chat, WhatsApp, Instagram, Discord, Slack, Facebook Messenger, and business email together. Use the omnichannel inbox to see connected conversations and reply directly. Shopify and WooCommerce connect store information; custom API actions and the MCP server connect business workflows. Some features require a suitable plan or an enabled workspace; WhatsApp campaigns also require approved templates and recipient consent.

On desktop, the guide's section menu stays below the main navigation as you scroll. Select Why Fetchply, The shortlist, or Feature table to jump to that part of the guide. On a phone, scroll comparison tables sideways to see the other columns.

AI credits, AI messages, tickets, and resolutions are different units. Compare the same workload, teammates, billing period, and connected channels. A free live-chat plan may not include ongoing AI usage. Vendor resolution claims do not predict the result for your business.

Prepare your content

Keep copies of your approved website content, documents, questions and answers, and agent instructions. Export past conversations from your existing provider if you need them for your records, subject to its export and retention options.

Fetchply does not automatically import another platform's agent, chat history, flows, or settings. Add content you own or have permission to use through knowledge sources, then recreate the behavior you need.

Test before moving

  1. Create an agent and add your sources.
  2. Check your instructions and recreate required flows or actions.
  3. Ask the same real questions on both platforms, including questions with no answer in your content.
  4. Test human handoff and confirm that your team receives the conversation.
  5. For a connected store, test product questions and order requests. Verify that customers can see only the order information they are allowed to access.
  6. Confirm that your plan supports the channels and features you need.

Keep the current service available until the new setup works. Reconnect channels using an account with permission to manage them; connections do not transfer automatically. Start with one channel and expand after checking real conversations.

Replace your website widget

Follow the embedding instructions for your website platform. Remove or disable the previous widget when you activate Fetchply, so visitors do not see two chat buttons. Keep the previous setup details until you have confirmed incoming messages, answers, and human replies work.

Troubleshooting

I cannot find my current platform

Clear the search and category filter. If a guide is still missing, use the features and pricing pages to check Fetchply against your own requirements. A missing guide does not mean a platform is unsupported for website embedding.

A channel is missing or will not connect

Check Fetchply's available integrations, your plan, and the permissions of the account you are using. Complete the connection steps again if access expired or was interrupted. Delay moving the channel until a test message reaches the correct conversation.

Some content or settings did not move

There is no automatic transfer from another provider. Add missing sources again, wait for processing to complete, and recreate your instructions and flows. Conversation exports kept for your records are not automatically added as agent knowledge.

The agent gives an incorrect answer

Review the relevant source and update missing or outdated information. Test again and check human handoff before publishing. Keep the previous service available if a required workflow still fails.

I see duplicate chat buttons or miss messages

Check which widget and channel connections are active. Disable the old widget after confirming Fetchply is ready, and repeat a new test conversation. Avoid moving more channels until you know where messages arrive.
