Handle conversations on your phone

Learn what the Fetchply mobile preview supports, how to sign in, and how to recover from connection or conversation errors.

The Fetchply mobile app is currently a development preview. It is still being completed and tested for iPhone and Android. Use the web inbox for your everyday customer support until a production release is available.

The preview supports reading conversations, sending text replies, leaving private notes, and changing conversation status. Notifications, live conversation updates, and attachment handling are not yet available. Creating accounts, accepting invitations, configuring agents, connecting channels, and billing stay on the web.

Before you start

Use an existing Fetchply account and an agent you have permission to open. If a teammate invited you, finish the invitation on the web first. Preview access does not mean the app has been released through the App Store or Google Play.

  1. Enter the email and password you use on the web.
  2. Enter the 6-digit code sent to that email address.
  3. If your existing account uses Google or Facebook, you can use the matching button instead. Apple sign-in is not available in this preview.

You can request another code when the resend countdown ends. Use Use a different account to return to the email and password step. Do not share verification codes.

Read and work conversations

Choose an agent in the Inbox header. The inbox groups conversations into Assigned to me, Unassigned requests, Other open, and Resolved. Search narrows the selected group. Pull down on the inbox to refresh its contents.

Open a conversation to see recent messages. Choose Load older messages to read further back. If that request fails, the messages already loaded remain available and you can retry. An interrupted read-status update also shows a retry control.

Use Reply to write to the customer or Note to leave information for your team. Notes are marked Private note. Each box keeps its own text, and switching between them does not copy a reply into a note. The preview sends text only.

The header offers the actions your access and the conversation allow: Take, Resolve, Reopen, and Back to AI. Controls wait for a pending action to finish. If another teammate changed the conversation, the app explains the failure and refreshes the available actions.

Drafts and interrupted sends

The app attempts to save text on your phone as you type. If saving fails, an error appears. Copy the text somewhere safe before leaving the conversation. If a saved draft cannot be opened, reopen the conversation to try again.

Sending needs a connection and a press of Send or Save note. Reconnecting does not automatically send a draft. A rejected request keeps the text in the box.

If your connection drops while sending, check the conversation in the web inbox before sending again. The preview cannot yet reliably recover every interrupted send, and the original message may have been accepted even if the phone did not receive confirmation.

An accepted reply may display Sending, Partly sent, Not sent, or Delivery unconfirmed. Refresh the conversation or check the web inbox for the current result. Check the customer's channel before repeating a partly sent or unconfirmed reply. Read more about delivery labels.

Activity and settings

Activity currently shows a limited list of unassigned requests. It does not yet include an assignment or mention history. Use the web inbox to check all work that needs attention.

Notifications and mute/pause controls are not available in this preview. Changing your phone's notification settings will not enable those unfinished features.

The app follows your phone's light or dark appearance. Settings links to account management, documentation, and privacy information. Signing out ends the local session and clears the conversations shown in the app. Signing in with another account loads that account's conversations separately.

Troubleshooting

My code was rejected or expired

Check that you entered the latest 6-digit code for the email shown. Wait for the resend countdown, request a new code, and enter the newest one. If you changed your password, return to the email and password step and start again.

I signed in but there are no agents

Ask a workspace owner for access or finish an outstanding invitation on the web. An agent may disappear if your permission was removed. Reopen the app after an access change; ask the owner if the change was unexpected.

The reply box or an action is disabled

Read the reason shown near the composer. Your account may have view-only access, the conversation may be resolved, or the channel may no longer allow a reply. Wait for any pending action to finish, then reopen the conversation to refresh it.

Loading fails while I have no connection

Reconnect and use Try again. A loading error does not confirm that a draft was saved. Keep any draft text safe if the composer reports a storage error.

Sending is paused or the app asks me to update

Sending may be temporarily unavailable while reading remains available. Use the web inbox for urgent replies. If an update is required, install the latest build through the preview distribution channel you were given.

Tap the link again. If your phone cannot open it, visit Fetchply in your browser and open the same account, help, or privacy page there.
