WordPress plugin

Install the Fetchply WordPress plugin, connect your site in one click, and optionally connect WooCommerce without copying API keys.

The official Fetchply plugin is the easiest way to put your agent on a WordPress site. It adds the chat widget for you, so there is no code to paste, and links you straight to the Fetchply dashboard for everything else: training, customization, conversations, and analytics.

Install the plugin

In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New, search for Fetchply, then install and activate it.

Connect your site

Open Fetchply in the left admin menu and click Connect to Fetchply. You are taken to fetchply.com to sign in or create a free account, then asked to pick the agent for this site. New to Fetchply? Choose Create a new agent instead: it is built from your site and starts training on your content immediately. After you confirm, you land back in WordPress and the widget is live.

Verify

Open your site in a new tab. The chat bubble appears on every page. Changes you make in the Fetchply dashboard, like colors or welcome messages, sync automatically; you never need to touch WordPress again.

Connect WooCommerce in one click

If your site runs WooCommerce, the plugin can connect your store without creating API keys by hand:

Start from the plugin page

On the Fetchply admin page, click Connect WooCommerce. Confirm on fetchply.com which agent gets access.

Approve the access request

WooCommerce shows its own approval screen describing read-only access for Fetchply. Approve it, and you are done: your agent can now answer product and order questions.

Capabilities like order lookup and product recommendations are configured under Integrations → WooCommerce in the Fetchply dashboard. See Connect WooCommerce for details.

Prefer not to install a plugin? You can always paste the standard install code from Embed in your dashboard into your theme footer or a header and footer plugin instead.

Turning the widget off or disconnecting

  • To hide the widget temporarily, untick Show the chat widget on my site on the plugin page and save.
  • Disconnect removes the widget and the plugin's stored settings from WordPress. Your Fetchply account and agent are untouched.
  • To fully revoke WooCommerce access, also remove the Fetchply key under WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API in WordPress, and disconnect the store under Integrations → WooCommerce in the Fetchply dashboard.

Troubleshooting

  • The connect button says the link expired or did not match. The connection must finish in the same browser within 15 minutes. Go back to the plugin page and click Connect again.
  • You created a new agent during connect, but it answers "I don't know" at first. Training starts the moment the agent is created and usually takes a few minutes. Check the training progress in your Fetchply dashboard; the agent improves as soon as it finishes.
  • "Your plan has reached its agent limit" when creating a new agent. Pick one of your existing agents instead, remove an agent you no longer use, or upgrade your plan.
  • You see "No access to this agent" when connecting WooCommerce. You are signed in to a Fetchply account that cannot manage integrations for the connected agent. Sign in with the owner's account, or ask the owner to grant you integration access under Team.
  • The widget does not appear on the site. Check that Show the chat widget on my site is ticked on the plugin page, and that no caching or optimization plugin is stripping scripts from your pages; if one is active, clear its cache after connecting.
  • You denied the WooCommerce request by mistake. Nothing was shared. Click Connect WooCommerce again and approve it.
  • The same site was connected to a different agent before. Connecting again simply replaces the previous choice; only one agent chats on a site at a time.
