Widget and branding
Widget and branding
Configure the visitor-facing Fetchply experience, publish it on a website, and verify it across screen sizes.
The widget is the website channel for an agent. Its knowledge and behavior come from the agent; its opening screen, colors, icons, questions, and layout come from widget settings.
Install the widget
Use the floating script, inline iframe, platform guide, or Shopify app embed.
Customize the experience
Set brand, chat, AI rules, and embed preferences.
Troubleshoot the widget
Resolve missing, blocked, duplicated, or misplaced widgets.
Before publishing
- Enable the agent and wait for at least one relevant source to be indexed.
- Test the opening screen, starter questions, citations, lead form, and handoff.
- Check that the launcher does not cover cart, cookie, accessibility, or rewards controls.
- Verify desktop and mobile in a private window.
The widget script includes an agent ID. Replace the script when switching a site to a different agent.
