Complete first-agent onboarding
Understand each onboarding step, what can be skipped, and what success looks like before you publish an agent.
Onboarding creates one agent and starts its first training job. You can continue configuring the agent while website pages are processed.
Website URL
Enter a site you own or are authorized to use. Fetchply blocks some well-known third-party sites. Choose I don't have a website to continue with files.
Optional file uploads accept PDF, DOCX, PPTX, CSV, XLS/XLSX, TXT, Markdown, HTML, and JSON files up to 10 MB each.
Shape your agent
Set Agent name, choose an Instructions preset or custom instructions, and select a launcher icon.
Starter questions
Add up to six suggested questions. Turn dynamic follow-up suggestions on if you want the agent to propose the next question during chat.
Install agent
Copy the script shown and place it before your site's closing </body> tag. Select Finish onboarding to open the customizer.
A file may upload successfully before it finishes indexing. Check Training Data for Processing, Indexed, or Failed status.
After onboarding, follow Test chat before sharing the widget with visitors.
