Add short text snippets to your free AI chatbot's knowledge base. Perfect for policies, disclaimers, hours, and quick facts. Type or paste — your chatbot learns instantly.

What Text Snippets Are

Text snippets let you add short pieces of written content directly — no file upload or website crawl needed. Type or paste the text you want your agent to know about, and it becomes searchable immediately after training.

Good use cases for text snippets:

  • Company policies — short policy statements or guidelines
  • Disclaimers — legal or compliance text
  • Quick facts — hours, locations, or service descriptions
  • Product details — descriptions for items not on your website
  • Temporary info — promotions or announcements

Add a Text Snippet

Open the Text tab

Go to Dashboard → Agent → Sources → Text.

Enter your content

Give the snippet a title (this helps you find it later) and type or paste the content.

Save and train

The snippet is saved immediately. Run a Retrain for your agent to include the new content.

Managing Snippets

From the text snippets list, you can:

  • Search — find snippets by title
  • Sort — order by title or date added
  • View — expand a snippet to read its full content
  • Delete — remove snippets you no longer need
  • Bulk delete — select multiple snippets and remove them at once
