Notifications
Read, filter, and customize the in-app notifications that appear behind the bell at the top right of your dashboard.
The bell at the top right of your dashboard collects activity from across your account: visitors asking for a person, new messages, captured leads, training results, team changes, billing updates, integration problems, and quota warnings. A badge on the bell shows how many notifications you have not read yet.
Selecting the bell opens the notifications panel from the right side of the screen.
Reading notifications
- Unread notifications show a highlighted background and an orange dot. Selecting one marks it as read and, when it relates to a specific place in the dashboard, takes you straight there.
- Use the All and Unread tabs to switch between your full history and only what still needs attention.
- Mark all read clears the unread badge in one step.
- Notifications are grouped by day (Today, Yesterday, This week, Earlier) so recent activity is easy to scan.
- Select View older notifications at the bottom of the list to load more. The panel shows your latest 100 notifications, and notifications older than 90 days are removed automatically.
Dismissing a notification
Hover over a notification (or move keyboard focus onto it) and select the X that appears to remove it permanently. Dismissing is separate from marking as read: a dismissed notification disappears from the list on every device and cannot be restored.
Choosing what you receive
Select the gear icon at the top of the panel to open notification settings. Each notification type has its own switch:
- Turning a type off stops those notifications everywhere you use Fetchply, on every device and browser. It does not change your email alerts or Slack notifications, which have their own controls in each agent's settings.
- Turning a type back on resumes future notifications of that type. Notifications that would have arrived while it was off are not delivered later.
The Sound switch controls whether this device plays a short chime when a notification arrives. Unlike the type switches, sound is a per-device choice.
Troubleshooting
The panel says notifications couldn't load
Your connection to Fetchply was interrupted. Check that you are online, then select Try again. If the problem continues, reload the page.
A change in notification settings didn't save
If you see "That change didn't save", the switch has returned to its previous position and nothing was changed. Check your connection and flip the switch again.
The badge count looks out of date
The count refreshes automatically when new activity arrives and whenever you return to the dashboard tab. If it still looks wrong, open the panel; it always loads the latest state.
I muted a type but still get emails or Slack messages
The switches in the notifications panel only control in-app notifications. Email alerts are configured per agent under Settings, and Slack notifications are configured on the Slack integration page for each agent.
I dismissed a notification by accident
Dismissed notifications cannot be restored. The underlying activity is not lost, though: conversations remain in your Inbox, leads on the Leads page, and billing details on the Billing page.
