Integrations and channels

Connect Slack

Add Fetchply to a Slack workspace for agent replies and optional operational notifications.

Add Fetchply to Slack

Open Integrations → Slack, select Add to Slack, choose the workspace, and approve the requested permissions.

Test agent replies

Send the app a direct message or mention it in a permitted channel. Confirm that it answers from the selected agent's knowledge.

Configure notifications

Choose a forwarding channel and the Fetchply events you want, such as handoffs, assignments, training, leads, quota, billing, team, or integration events.

Invite the app to the channel

Slack apps cannot post in every channel automatically. Invite Fetchply to the selected channel and trigger a test notification.

Reconnect if the workspace changes or authorization is revoked. Disconnecting removes the stored Slack connection and stops agent replies and forwarded notifications.

Automatic bot-loop protection

Fetchply ignores messages that Slack identifies as coming from a bot. This prevents Slack apps and Fetchply agents from continuously replying to each other. Ignored bot messages are not added as visitor conversations.

Troubleshooting

  • Connection status cannot be loaded: Check your internet connection, then select Try again. Fetchply does not mark the workspace as disconnected or change its setup when this check fails. Wait briefly and retry before reconnecting.
