How It Works
Your trained agent responds when someone mentions it in a channel or sends it a direct message — same knowledge, consistent answers.
Open the Slack integration page
Go to Dashboard → Agent → Settings → Integrations → Slack.
Add to your workspace
Click Add to Slack and authorize through Slack's install flow. Choose the workspace you want to connect.
Mention or message the bot
In any connected channel, mention the bot or send it a direct message. Your agent responds using your trained knowledge.
Message Handling
- Channel mentions — when someone @mentions the bot in a channel
- Direct messages — when someone messages the bot directly
- Conversations appear in Dashboard → Agent → Inbox alongside other channels
- You can step in and reply personally from the Inbox at any time
Slack integration is available on all Fetchply plans. The bot needs the right workspace permissions to read mentions and send replies.
