What It Does
Once connected, WhatsApp messages sent to your business number are answered automatically by your agent — using the same knowledge and personality as your website widget.
Open the WhatsApp integration page
Go to Dashboard → Agent → Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp.
Connect through Meta
Click Connect to start Meta's setup flow:
- Log in to your Meta Business account
- Select or create a WhatsApp Business account
- Choose a phone number to connect
- Grant the required permissions
Test the connection
Send a message to your connected WhatsApp number. It should appear in Dashboard → Agent → Inbox and receive an automated reply from your agent.
How It Works
- Incoming WhatsApp messages are answered by your agent using your trained content
- Conversations appear in your Inbox alongside website and other channel conversations
- You can step in and reply personally at any time from the Inbox
Managing Your Connection
After connecting, you can:
- See which phone number is connected
- View your connection status
- Disconnect and reconnect if needed
WhatsApp integration is available on all Fetchply plans. You need a verified WhatsApp Business account through Meta.
