Overview
Contacts is a unified directory of everyone who identified themselves to your agent: visitors who shared a name, email, or phone in a conversation, leads captured by your form, and customers who placed an order. Records that share an email address, or a phone number when there is no email, are merged into a single contact automatically.
Every row shows the person’s most recent details, the channels they used, how many conversations, leads, and orders they have, the total value of their confirmed orders, and when they were first and last active. Open a profile to see every interaction behind the contact, newest first, with conversations linking straight into the inbox.
The directory is built for working, not just browsing. Search matches names, emails, and phone numbers as you type; filters narrow by source, channel, and activity dates; columns and page size are customizable; and the filtered list exports as a CSV for your CRM or mail tool.
How it works
- 1
Contacts collect themselves
There is nothing to set up. As people identify themselves in chat, submit the lead form, or place an order, they appear in the directory.
- 2
Records merge into people
Entries sharing an email, or a phone number when no email exists, become one contact with combined history.
- 3
Search, filter, and sort
Find anyone by name, email, or phone, narrow by source, channel, or date range, and sort by activity or order value.
- 4
Follow up anywhere
Open the full history, jump into the conversation in the inbox, or export the filtered list as a CSV.

Frequently asked questions
Why is a visitor I chatted with missing?
Contacts only includes people who identified themselves. Anonymous visitors appear once they share a name, email, or phone number, submit the lead form, or place an order.
Why does the same person appear twice?
Merging uses the email address first, then the phone number. Someone who used two different email addresses, or a record that only has a name, cannot be safely combined and stays separate.
How is this different from the leads list?
Leads counts form submissions; Contacts counts people. One person who submitted the form three times is three leads but a single contact with three leads in their history.
Can I export contacts to my CRM?
Yes. Export the current filtered view, or just the selected rows, as a CSV file. Exporting uses the same permission as lead export.
